Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stewardly AI mobile application (“Stewardly”, “the app”, “our service”) developed and operated by Lee Patrick Glenn Villarasa (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Cebu, Philippines.

By downloading, installing, or using Stewardly, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Stewardly does

Stewardly is a personal finance tracking app that helps you manage bills, loans, and subscriptions. It includes AI-powered document scanning (powered by Anthropic Claude), expense tracking, smart reminders, and an AI chat assistant. Stewardly does not connect to your bank accounts or financial institutions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stewardly. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or its components.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, or other users' data.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the app without written permission.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or fraudulent.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the app or its data.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Free trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial.

Premium subscription

Stewardly Premium provides unlimited AI scanning, unlimited AI chat, voice input, smart reminders, and multi-currency support. The subscription is billed monthly through the Apple App Store. The current price is displayed in the app and on the App Store in your local currency.

Lifetime access

A one-time purchase option provides unlimited tracking forever, plus limited daily AI access (1 free AI scan and 1 free AI message per day) and 2 months of unlimited AI included. The price is displayed in the app and on the App Store.

Billing and cancellation

• All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

6. AI features

Stewardly uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to scan documents and provide financial insights. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated results may contain errors. You should always review and verify extracted data before relying on it.
• AI features require an internet connection and are not available offline.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• AI features are tools to assist you, not professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Stewardly. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your financial data, photos, or other content. Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app or by contacting us at hello@stewardlyai.com.

8. Disclaimers

• Stewardly is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• Stewardly is not a financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional. The app is a personal tracking tool, not professional advice.
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the app.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Stewardly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Stewardly at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Stewardly after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Stewardly shall be resolved in the courts of Cebu City, Philippines.
